Move, stretch, and breathe for better health
Qigong is an ancient Chinese health practice that uses stretching, slow movements and deep breathing to revitalize mind, body and spirit. It is popular around the world with adults who want to improve their balance, flexibility, posture, and strength. It has been used to help people suffering from anxiety, insomnia, back pain, joint pain, breathing problems, PTSD, arthritis and more. All postures can be done standing up or seated in a chair. Everything can be adapted to individual needs.
Classes will be lead by Sarah from Awaken Tai Chi. She has over a decade of experience practicing Qigong, Tai Chi and other forms of combat arts and moving meditation. She enjoys teaching beginners and helping people adapt movements and postures to suit the bodies they live in.
