Come and learn some ADULTING skills at the New River Library!
Teens can learn how to be financially ready for the “real world” by participating in this fun simulation. Each participant will pretend to be 25 and will have an income, a family size, and a series of choices to make regarding housing, transportation, groceries, vacations, and other expenses and learn how to balance a budget while understanding the difference between needs versus wants. Teens will learn which expenses to prioritize and the challenges of compromising on everyday things.
