Some stories don't just speak to you...they pull you in! Join us for four movies where the stories are more than just words, they are a gateway to magical places!

Once upon a time and beyond! Beat the heat and join us for this special movie marathon celebrating characters who discover a whole new world hidden within the pages of a book!  Popcorn generously provided by the Friends of the Centennial Park Library. 

10:30 am - The Pagemaster (Rated G): A cowardly boy, who buries himself in accident statistics, enters a library to escape a storm, only to be transformed into an animated illustration by the Pagemaster. He has to work through obstacles from classic books to return to real-life. 

1:00 pm - Inkheart (Rated PG): A teenage girl discovers her father has an amazing talent to bring characters out of their books and must try to stop a freed villain from destroying them all, with the help of her father, her aunt, and a storybook's hero.

3:30 pm The NeverEnding Story (Rated PG): A troubled boy dives into a wondrous fantasy world through the pages of a mysterious book. Please be advised, this PG rating is from 1984. Parental Guidance is encouraged if attending this showing. 

6:00 pm - The Princess Bride (Rated PG): A bedridden boy's grandfather reads him the story of a farmboy-turned-pirate who encounters numerous obstacles, enemies and allies in his quest to be reunited with his true love. Please be advised, this PG rating is from 1987.  Parental Guidance is encouraged if attending this showing.
