Learn the basics of how to throw pottery on a potter's wheel and create your own custom piece of pottery over the course of two sessions.
Learn the basics of throwing pottery on a wheel! Join us on Monday, November 3rd from 3 to 5pm. Participants will learn the basics of creating forms on a pottery wheel. A copy of our Safety and Liability waiver must be completed prior to beginning the program. Ages 9 to 18 welcome. Participants must wear closed toe shoes. No experience required. Items made in this program will need to be glazed at the following glaze session on Monday, November 17th from 3 to 5pm.
We will only be accepting registrations from people who have not had the chance to participate in any of our Pottery or Ceramics programs in the last year.
The Starkey Ranch TLC is located within the Starkey Ranch community and home to a theatre, several meeting and study rooms, and the Clayworks ceramics makerspace.
