Explore what makes chocolate from various Countries around the World taste differently.
Sample Chocolates from (8) Countries from Peru to Madagascar. Learn why the Ghana Chocolate has a peppery flavor and Chocolate from Vietnam has an intense cocoa flavor. Participants will sample Chocolates while learning interesting facts such as the percentage of Cacao in each Chocolate, facts about the Country of origin and ideal drink parings with each.
Individuals with allergies to: soy, wheat, milk, peanut and tree nuts should not register for the program as these items are in the Dark Chocolates. A complete list of all ingredients in each chocolate will be provided upon request.
This program is for Adults, 16 years and older.
Pre-registration is required by purchasing a ticket at mapsmuseum.org for $13. (plus tax and fees) per person. Included with the fee are Chocolate Samples from (8) Countries and Drinks. The Presentation with be given by Charles Zidar, MAPS Museum Director.
The Starkey Ranch TLC is located within the Starkey Ranch community and home to a theatre, several meeting and study rooms, and the Clayworks ceramics makerspace.
