Learn the basics of how to throw pottery on a potter's wheel and create your own custom mug.
Learn the basics of throwing your own custom mug on a potter's wheel! Join us on Wednesday, January 14th from 12 to 2pm. Participants will learn the basics of creating forms on a pottery wheel. No experience required. Items made in this program will need to be finished at a following glaze session.
Participants must wear closed toe shoes during the program.
You must be at least 16 years old to participate in this ClayWorks program.
A copy of the Safety and Liability Waiver must be filled out prior to participating in the program. Blank copies of the waiver will be available at the beginning of the program to fill out.
We will only be accepting registrations from people who have not had the chance to participate in any of our Pottery or Ceramics programs in the last year.
Failing to attend a ClayWorks program you have registered for without contacting the Library will prohibit you from registering for another ClayWorks program for 30 days.
