Regency Robotics – Come have some Robot fun!
Join us for the kickoff of Regency Robotics, a hands-on robotics program where kids can learn the basics of programming and robotics through fun interactive challenges.
Participants will work in small groups and rotate through three activity stations where they will:
· Create a path for the robot to follow
· Program a robot to go through a maze using simple coding commands
· Manually drive a robot through an obstacle course
No prior robotics experience is required. This beginner-friendly program is designed for kids ages 8–12 and focuses on problem-solving, teamwork, and learning how robots respond to programming.
Space is limited to ensure every participant gets hands-on time with the robots.
This program is part of a Girl Scout Gold Award project designed to expand access to STEM learning in the community.
The Regency Park Library is located in New Port Richey off Little Road and has study & meeting rooms, and the Regency Fresh Kitchen makerspace.
