Multipurpose Room D - Foundry

Jr. Woodworkers will learn how to utilize a variety of hand tools to exercise their creativity and wood working skills. This month's project is TBD

Kids ages 9 to 12 are invited to join us for a fun, hands-on workshop where they’ll learn how to safely use hand tools and work with a variety of woods. This months project is TBD.  Class time is 2 hours but children may finish early depending on personal skill level. 

For everyone’s safety, closed-toe shoes are required, and all participants must have a completed Foundry Waiver and Safety Playbook on file. These forms can be picked up at the Service Desk or found online at https://www.pascolibraries.org/makerspaces/the-foundry/. Parents or guardians must complete the forms for minors, and all safety rules must be followed during the activity. Parents are not required to stay with children for this activity but parents must stay inside the library for safety.
