Throwdown Competition

Compete against others to throw the tallest piece of pottery and to throw a piece of pottery to match the shape of another piece of pottery.
Join us from 4:00 to 5:00pm and compete against others to throw the tallest piece of pottery and to throw a piece of pottery to match the shape of another piece of pottery. Nothing thrown in this program will be kept.
Participants must wear closed toe shoes during the program.
You must be at least 16 years old to participate in this ClayWorks program.
A copy of the Safety and Liability Waiver must be filled out prior to participating in the program. Blank copies of the waiver will be available at the beginning of the program for parents or legal guardians to fill out.
Prior Experience is required! This program is intended as a sequel to our “Pottery for Beginners” programs. If you have not attended a "Pottery for Beginners" program at the library, please contact us and let us know about your prior experience.
Failing to attend a ClayWorks program you have registered for without contacting the Library will prohibit you from registering for another ClayWorks program for 30 days.

The Starkey Ranch TLC is located within the Starkey Ranch community and home to a theatre, several meeting and study rooms, and the Clayworks ceramics makerspace.
