Adult Art Lab
Open Fine Art Fundamentals and Practice
Tuesday, December 15
5:30pm - 7:30pm
At Centennial Park Library. Rediscover your creativity and build real art skills in a relaxed, supportive studio setting. Explore new materials each month and grow as an artist at your own pace.
December will be an open month where you can drop in to finish anything you Are still working on from previous months, get feedback on projects, and just enjoy the camaraderie of this supportive atmosphere for all kinds of artists.
The Adult Art Lab is a welcoming class for adults who want to learn, practice, and grow as artists—whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or returning after years away.
Each month we focus on the core ideas that make art work—like color, composition, value, and expression—while experimenting with different materials such as acrylics, oils, watercolor, pastel, charcoal, mixed media, found objects, and more. You’ll learn through guided lessons, demos, and plenty of hands-on practice.
This class is about progress, not perfection. You’ll get personal feedback and gentle pushes when you need them, with time to share, reflect, and learn from each other along the way. We’ll also talk about how to get your work exhibition ready if you want to take that next step.
All materials are provided. Open to adults 18 and older. Please contact Centennial Park Library by calling (727) 834-3204 if you have any questions or concerns. If you can’t attend the first class please call us and cancel your slot, as registration covers the full month of sessions.
